Half term at Noisy Book Club x One of Six…
…with special guest Angry Dan 🎨
Mural-style painting with the artist behind murals all over Walthamstow, plus proper hand and machine sewing skill-building on the other days. All woven through with the growth mindset work we do every week: bouncing back from mistakes, taking on a challenge, trying the new thing anyway.

What time does the day run?＋
Every day runs 10am to 3pm. There's no club on Thu 29 and Fri 30 October.
Where does it happen?＋
Mostly at the One of Six cabin, 259A High Street, London E17 7BH. On Wed 28 Oct we're at Noisy Book Club HQ, a 5-minute walk away. The calendar marks it as a different venue, and your confirmation email says exactly where to go.
What will we be making?＋
There are two kinds of day. On sewing days with One of Six, children learn hand and machine sewing: a cushion, a keyring, a soft toy and a bag over four days (the first week is Halloween themed, so that bag is a treat bag). On Angry Dan days (Fri 23 Oct, Mon 26 to Wed 28 Oct and Mon 2 Nov) we do mural-style painting with the artist behind murals all over Walthamstow.
Can we book single days?＋
Yes, most days are booked on their own, so come for one day or all of them. The exception is Mon 26 and Tue 27 Oct, which are booked together as a pair. If a day is full, tap it to join the waiting list and we'll be in touch if a place opens up.
How much is it, and is there a sibling discount?＋
Sewing days are £65 a day and Angry Dan days are £75 a day (the Mon 26 and Tue 27 Oct pair is £150). Bringing two or three children? The 2nd and 3rd child each get 5% off, and you can book up to three in one go.
How do I pay, and is it secure?＋
Payment is taken securely online by card. Your place is confirmed the moment you pay, and a confirmation email with all the details lands straight in your inbox.
What happens after I book?＋
You'll be whisked to a short form to tell us all about your child: allergies, emergency contacts, photo consent and the important bits. Completing it finalises their enrolment.
What's your refund policy?＋
Booking holds a spot, so we can't always offer a straight refund. If something changes, get in touch as early as you can. First, we'll try to move you to another date or club, or offer a credit. If you'd prefer a refund, we'll happily give one once the place is filled, either by you finding a replacement or by us re-selling it from the waiting list, minus a 10% admin fee that covers card-processing and administration costs. If we can't fill the place, we're not able to refund it. We'll always be reasonable about genuine emergencies.
