I'm not going to tell you how great the after school workshops are. The kids are instead.
'It's so fun.' 'We get to learn about things and it's not really like school 'coz that's really boring.' (sorry school) 'I get to learn about mistakes and fixing them.' 'It makes me feel a bit braver.' 'It makes me happy because I learn things I don't know.' 'It makes me feel energetic because I've had a long day with SATs papers and I come here and everyone has a lot of energy and they give me a lot of energy. And that makes me happy.' I know, I know, we have a great time.Booking opens next week for the after school workshops starting after half term.
As my faithful email buddies, you get first dibs on places. I'll email you at 6pm next Wednesday, 24 hours before I announce booking publicly.
We'll have the same days as this term:Tuesdays (with a Winns pick up)
Thursday (with a Greenleaf pickup)
As with this term, children from other schools are welcome, you'll just need to get them to us.
Want a Wednesday Art club this term?
Laura Villares House and I have had some requests to bring our new Wednesday club forward by a term. If there is enough take up, we're up for it.
In this one we're combining art and Growth Mindset, with a pick up from Henry Maynard.
Message me back if you would like to sign up for this Wednesday club now or in September... we're about halfway there to being able to run it this term.
