What I love about this book is that it addresses the really RUBBISH feelings that can come up when we make a mistake.
That feeling of total despair that nothing will be the same again, or that we've done something so disastrous we will never be able to redeem ourselves.
Those are really horrible things to feel, on top of already feeling bad that you made the actual mistake, right?
So this book is perfect for opening up conversations about the icky feelings that might come up after making a mistake... and how to ride them through.
It's perfect if your child tends to get 'stuck' in the aftermath of a mistake.
Whether you’re reading this together at bedtime or chatting about it over breakfast, I hope it helps you and your child feel a little less alone with those tricky feelings. Mistakes are part of being human - and talking about them is how we grow.
