noisy book club is designed to teach you parents how to support your children with learning, both educational and emotional.
I want to save you time, tears and anxiety.
Sure, I can teach your child to choose challenges, make mistakes and love learning all day long... but what I really love is giving you the tools to teach them yourself.
Learning can be more fun. More collaborative. More inspiring.
Supporting your child through their early years shouldn't be stressful. It should be an exciting journey for the whole family.
Let me help
I'm a mum of two, lover of rubbish TV and expert in picking up (but rarely seeing through) new hobbies.
I'm also an experienced Primary School Teacher and educational mentor for parents. I’m here to simplify the heck out of teaching children to be happy, confident learners.
I started Noisy Book Club in Autumn 2022, in an attempt to relieve some of the stress I was seeing in parents who wanted to help their children but weren't always sure how to. My maternity leave had just finished and I was working part-time at a school in Hackney alongside freelance tutoring. The more children I taught, the more worried, unsupported parents I came across
Let's face it, schools are overstretched and understaffed, and that has a knock-on effect on how much support children get in school.
Naturally, we wait and hope for increased funding, staff and services in schools. But Noisy Book Club will show you how to help your child be happy and confident now.
I believe that the simple tools and ideas provided by Noisy Book Club can save you money in tutors and therapists. The mission is to show how you can help your child with their social, emotional and academic journeys.
Please note: I'm not claiming that I can make SEN or serious mental health issues disappear. But I am confident that with the right approach to learning, most children will become happier, more confident learners.
Here are some lovely things parents have said about me and my work.
Becca comes with such a high level of expertise, which I’d recommend to any parent. Through the growth mindset approach we've been able to support M gaining confidence and take on so many new challenges. Thank you so much Becca. Your help was invaluable.
I'm so grateful to you for introducing me to what a growth mindset is. This has not only helped me with my parenting skills, it has helped me immensely as an individual and how I now live my life.
That is Noisy Book Club. We're not into telling you how to parent or offering attention-grabbing advice. We want to share simple, evidence-based approaches that will make your life and your child's life easier.
Sound good? Leave us your email and we'll send you some good stuff.
